Sugaring Hair Removal
The art of ancient hair removal known as Sugaring. Dating back to 1900bc, Sugaring is an old Egyptian/Middle Eastern form of hair removal. Using the "hand held" method to apply the sugar paste we gently remove unwanted hair in the natural direction of growth, also, removing dead skin cells leaving skin clean, smooth, and glowing. Additional, Sugaring is a kinder and safer alternative in hair removal.
A Few Helpful Tips
Hair needs to be 1/4" to 1/8" inch to be removed.
Cheryl prefers the hair a bit longer to start, but once sugaring regularly, she can get the hair much shorter.
Avoid making an appointment that coincide with your menstrual cycle as it is a time when you are most sensitive.
Avoid hot tubs, pools, saunas, steam rooms, and baths for 8 hours before and 48 hours after.
Absolutely no exercise for 24 hours following your sugaring service. If large areas (back, chest, stomach) are sugared you should wait 3 days to exercise.
Hydrate!!! Coconut oil is truly an amazing product! it is germicidal and bactericidal so you use it on your most delicate parts. you get ingrown hairs for 2 reasons: 1) Bacteria gets into the open follicles and causes an infection and 2) Skin grows over the follicle while the follicle is empty and then the new hair cant get through the skin. If you do not exfoliate AND hydrate, you will get Ingrown Hairs! Care after sugaring is very important!.
